Judicial & Institutional Services (J&IS) provides a range of behavioral intervention trainings and workshops, including restorative justice practices, as part of its core statutory tasks.
SJIB was established in 2004 to provide Probation & Parole and Family Guardianship services across the Windward Islands. Operating from St. Maarten, the foundation supported individuals and families through guidance, supervision, and community-focused services.

Expanding Our Services
As community needs grew, J&IS expanded its reach by establishing the Foster Families Central in 2009 and opening the Youth Residential Home in 2022. New programs and initiatives further strengthened its role within the justice system.
